Financial Aid / Scholarships

Scholarships
The University of Geneva and its partners will be offering several scholarships to outstanding students accepted into our 2012/13 International Organizations MBA programme. Scholarships are based on a combination of academic merit, financial need, and availability of funds. Additionally, some scholarships may be reserved for nationals of selected developing countries.

Swiss Government Scholarships
Swiss Government Scholarships are awarded by the Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Students (FCS). They are by definition intended exclusively for foreign students who wish to complete their education at a Swiss university or federal institute of technology, such as the University of Geneva (UNIGE). The Scholarships are awarded in accordance with a list of countries eligible for Swiss Federal Scholarships. Applications are to be submitted to the Swiss diplomatic representation in the candidate's country of origin.
Scholarships are granted for an academic year of nine months. An extension may be granted if the scholarship is needed to finance an educational program lasting more than two semesters, and only if the recipient of the scholarship has successfully passed his or her first year of study.
The list of countries granted Swiss Federal Scholarships for the academic year 2012-13 can be obtained from the following website:
